NOTICEISHEREBYGIVENthat Cyngor Sir Ynys Mon/Isle of Anglesey County Council intend not less than seven days from the date hereof to make an Order, the effect of which will temporarily prohibit all vehicles, except foremergency vehicles, from travelling in either direction across Valley Level Crossing.
The Order is necessary to enable level crossing maintenance.
The alternative route will be from the north eastern point of the closure, travel in a north easterly direction along the B4545 Station Road Valley to the crossroads with the A5 by the Valley Hotel. Turn left onto the A5 and proceed in a north westerly direction to the junction with Spencer Road. Turn left onto Spencer Road and proceed in a south westerly direction to the junction with the B4545 Station Road, and vice versa for traffic travelling in the other direction.
The Order comes into effect on 15th February 2025 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding 4 weeks or until the work which it is proposed to carry out on the road is completed, whichever is the earlier. At this stage it is anticipated that the works will take place overnight in two stages between 11:00pm on 15th February 2025 and 7:20am on 16th February 2025 and between 11:00pm on 22nd February 2025 and 7:20am on 23rd February 2025.

The Chair on behalf of Valley Community Council will be placing a wreath at the War Memorial, Ynys Wen Cemetery at 6pm tomorrow 6/6/24 and will give a short tribute to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings in Normandy, France. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Remembrance Day Service The Remembrance Day Service will be held in St Michael’s Church at 11.15 hours on Sunday 12th, November 2023 followed by the service at Ynys Wen cemetery.
A service will also be held at Valley Community School at 9.15 am on Friday 10th November 2023.

Publication of audited accounts for the year ended 31 March 2022
Regulation 15(5) of the Accounts and Audit (Wales) Regulations 2014 (as amended) requires that by 30 September 2022, Valley Community Council publish its accounting statements for the year ended 31 March 2022 together with any certificate, opinion, or report issued, given or made by the Auditor General.
The accounting statements in the form of an annual return have been published on the Council’s website. However, the accounts are published before the conclusion of the audit as the Auditor General has not yet issued an audit opinion.
COMMUNITY BEACH CLEAN, SUNDAY 13TH FEBRUARY 2.00pm, GORAD BEACH
On Sunday 13th of February at 2pm there will be a community beach clean of Gorad Beach. The event is supported by Surfers Against Sewage. The meeting point for the beach clean is the beach at the end of Beach Road.

LITTER PICK PARC MWD, VALLEY – SUNDAY, October 10th at 3.00 p.m. Valley Community Council is pleased to announce that Keep Valley Tidy will be carrying out a litter pick in Parc Mwd on Sunday, October 10th at 3.00 p.m. We wish to thank you for your continued efforts to help keep the village and community sites free of litter.

We are pleased to announce that a new bus shelter has been erected in Llanynghenedl – another example of working in partnerhsip with Isle of Anglesey County Council for the benefit of the community.

Rubbish and Dog Fouling Parc Mwd Parc Mwd is a valuable community asset in Valley and it is disappointing that some of those who use it opt to leave rubbish around the park together with dog mess.
We would respectfully request park users to ensure that they place their rubbish/dog mess in the bins by the pavilion or, in the event that the bins are full, take it home with them.
